As a personal chef in Minneapolis, MN I have created a way of eating for myself personally and for my clients using local, organic, and sustainable ingredients. Along the way I have met chefs, farmers, ranchers, gardeners, and many others who help to guide me in the decision-making of what to put in my body. This is a place where I can share with you my experiences of food and the story it tells to all of us.
While attending the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC I attended a lecture presented by Anne Marie Colbin, Ph.D, the founder of the Natural Gourmet Institute. Instantly I knew I wanted to combine my education in holistic health counseling and my passion for cooking delicious healthy meals.
After graduating, I began cooking professionally in New York City, working under some of the nation’s top chefs. And most recently with Brenda Langton at Spoonriver Restaurant. Through these experiences, I have learned many traditional and modern cooking techniques and I have created a personal cooking style that combines the benefits of healthy eating with gourmet-quality meals.
